Ica expects receive more than 800,000 tourists during the Harvest Festival 2016


Ica is projected receive more than 800,000 tourists from home and abroad, during celebrations of the 51 th International Harvest Festival, which began on March 4 and will last until March 13, said the regional director of Tourism Julio Valenzuela.

This influx of visitors represent an increase of 10 to 15 percent over last year, noting that this improvement is positioning has achieved national Ica as the second tourist destination after the Cusco region.

He stressed that in the framework of the celebration of the 51 th International Festival of the Harvest began the nineteenth Route wineries 2016, organized by the Regional Government of Ica, through the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade, Tourism and Handicrafts occurred.
